Heidi Milano — Co-Hospital Manager
Heidi has been with Raritan Animal Hospital since August of 2010. She attended Purdue University for Veterinary Technology and has worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years. Heidi has volunteered with Pinups for Pit Bulls and the Liberty Humane Society. Heidi is currently the Treasurer of the New Jersey Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (NJVHMA).
Outside of her Hospital Manager duties, Heidi enjoys diving into the latest science fiction novel and spending time with her dog Petunia and her three cats, Moxie, Monkey and Buffy.
Donna Zielinski — Co-Hospital Manager
Donna is one of the Hospital Managers at Raritan Animal Hospital. She is a long time resident of Edison and has spent the last 30 years at Raritan Animal Hospital. Donna is the mother of two high school boys. She enjoys football, riding her quad and most of all, her children, but she hates cooking and shopping!
Beth Stawicki, CVT — Head Veterinary Technician
Beth received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey in 2001 and then joined the Raritan Animal Hospital staff in December of 2001. She earned her technician's certification in 2005 and is registered with the NJVTA. She is also a member of the NAVTA. Her professional interests include laboratory diagnostics and client education. In her spare time, Beth enjoys home DIY projects, gardening, and crocheting. At home, she enjoys the company of her Scottish terrier, Emmett.
Caitlin Saranczak — Veterinary Assistant Supervisor
Caitlin has been working with animals since the age of 14. She started working with animals as a Kennel Assistant at a local pet resort for three years. Caitlin began her career at Raritan Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant for two and a half years. She was soon promoted to our Veterinary Technician team and has taken over as Veterinary Assistant Supervisor.
Judy Weiss, CVT — Inventory Manager
Judy received a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Boston University in 2002. She joined the staff of Raritan Animal Hospital in 2005 and later obtained her Veterinary Technician certification in 2013. Judy manages our hospital inventory and enjoys the time she spends caring for animals as a Veterinary Technician.
Jennifer Aillon — Veterinary Technician
Jennifer joined our practice with over five years of experience in the veterinary field. She began her career by successfully completed Middlesex County College’s Veterinary Assistant Program. Jennifer’s professional veterinary interests include surgical assistance and nursing care.
When not busy at the hospital she enjoys baking, karaoke, a good jigsaw puzzle, and video games. Jennifer is also an avid derby girl; she has been participating in the sport for over six years and currently skates with a local roller derby team. She shares her home with a German Shepherd/Collie Mix named Bailey and a Tabby cat, Dynamo.
Robin Kisch — Veterinary Technician
Robin joined our practice in March 2016 with three years of experience in the veterinary field. Her veterinary experience began as a Receptionist at a spay and neuter clinic. Some of Robin's professional interests include nursing care and client education on the benefits of spaying and neutering.
She graduated from college with a liberal arts degree, taking a special interest in sign language. Robin shares her home with her rescue Pit Bull, Lacey.
Lauren DeFreest-Handa — Veterinary Technician
Lauren joined our practice with five years of experience in the veterinary field as a Veterinary Technician and Kennel Manager. She graduated college with a degree in Creative Writing.
Lauren spends her free time volunteering for a local Pit Bull Rescue. She considers herself a “fantasy nerd” and loves reading and writing fantasy fan fiction. Lauren and her husband share their home with two dogs, Georgia and Archer, two cats, Harlow and Tybalt, as well as a menagerie of nine rats and six mice.
Rhiannon Falzarano — Veterinary Technician
Rhiannon joins us with a wide background in veterinary care, pharmaceutical science and animal nutrition. She has been working with primates, swine and canines since 2013. Rhiannon is the ultimate fur-mom with two dogs and four cats that she dotes over daily. Her pooches stay fashionable with colored Mohawks and fit with a tailored nutritional plan. Every new addition to Rhiannon's home gets their very own welcome taco.
Kelly Fitzgibbons — Veterinary Technician
Kelly started at the hospital as a part-time Veterinary Assistant after completing the Veterinary Assistant Program at Middlesex County college. She was then promoted to a full-time Veterinary Technician.
Kelly has wanted to work with animals for as long as she can remember, and she enjoys coming to work and caring for each animal as if they were her own. In her free time she works as a dog walker for families in her town. Kelly shares her home with her hound mix Penny.
Brittany Cuellar — Veterinary Assistant
Brittany is currently attending Rutgers University and is completing her degree in Animal Science. She hopes to become a great Veterinarian in the near future. When Brittany's at work she always has smile and is pleasant to work with. In her free time she loves to travel and cook.
Jennifer Grare — Veterinary Assistant
Jennifer has loved animals since she was a kid. Her compassion for animals led her to helping out at an animal shelter, where she did kennel work, as well as animal maintenance. After that, Jennifer began working at a dog grooming salon; by May of 2015, she began working at Raritan Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. Jennifer now helps to train new Assistants and constantly aids in the hospital's success. She has expertise in how to give medication, set up fluids, restrain pets properly and always helps to keep our hospital clean.
Nicole Aubourgh — Veterinary Assistant
Nicole is a graduate from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She enjoys being around a variety of animals and finds pleasure in learning new languages.
Stephanie Aucello — Client Service Representative
Stephanie grew up in South Brunswick. She spent her college years exploring the Midwest and working in three different national parks as a guest service manager. She has been working in animal hospitals for over a year. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, writing, and taking care of her kitten Gemini.
Neel Upadhyay — Client Service Representative
Neel joined our team in December of 2015 at Piscataway Animal Clinic. He has since become a full-time team member at our Raritan Animal Hospital location and serves as the Director of Customer Service. Neel is currently enrolled at Rutgers University of Newark where he is studying Forensic Accounting. In addition to his love for animals, Neel’s outside interests include compiling music from all genres, traveling, cars, and adding to his shoe collection. Neel shares his home with two Shih Tzus, Broly and Tuulip, as well as a new kitten named Mad Max.
Felicia Clarkson — Client Service Representative
Felicia joined the practice in 2010 and works at our reception desk. Prior to joining Raritan Animal Hospital, Felicia worked as a teacher’s assistant at the local YMCA for 12 years in the pre-school department. Felicia spends her time away from the hospital enjoying activities such as cooking, traveling, and reading. She always values time spent with her husband and two boys, as well as family and friends.
Donna Hafen, CVA — Client Service Representative
Donna joined our reception staff in 2012. She has a bachelor's degree in Applied Music from NYU and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2011 through Middlesex County College. Donna has worked at two local veterinary practices prior to joining our staff. Outside of work, Donna is a AKC breeder of merit, show handler, and groomer of Schnauzers. She and her husband share their home with their schnauzer family and a cat named Greyson, who was lucky to be rescued just before Hurricane Sandy hit.
Emilis Castro — Client Service Representative
Emilis is a lifelong resident of Piscataway. She recently transitioned from the hospitality industry into animal medicine and is excited to bring her customer service skills to Raritan Animal Hospital. Emilis has been helping stray cats and sick puppies since she was a little girl. In her free time, she loves taking her Lab Mix rescue on long hikes. Emilis also enjoys cooking with her boyfriend. She looks forward to helping you and your pet.
Katy Sun — Client Service Representative
Katy joined our reception staff in the fall of 2017. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Penn State and ended up in New Orleans for a few years. After rescuing her best buddy, Huckleberry, from Northern Louisiana, Katy found her way back to New Jersey and through the doors of Raritan Animal Hospital.
Outside of work, Katy spends all her time at the dog park, in a bubble tea shop, or at her dining room table putting together another scrapbook or jigsaw puzzle.
Kianna Osorio — Client Service Representative
Kianna has always had a passion for animals of all kinds! When she isn't helping animals, she spends her time working as a licensed massage therapist. At home Kianna has two cats, Lucifer and Toby, as well as two bearded dragons Ozzy and Wheezy. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors and each other's company. Kianna also loves to vibe out to music of almost any genre, you can bet she loves karaoke. She is a people person who would love to help if she can.
