Gary
Quinn, VMD
Dr. Gary
Quinn obtained his undergraduate degree
from the University of Notre Dame. He
graduated from the University of Pennsylvania
School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981
and joined the staff at the Raritan Animal
Hospital in June of that same year. Dr.
Quinn and his wife, Corinne have three
children. Their oldest child recently graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine. Dr Quinn and his
family are avid ski and snowboard enthusiasts.
His children have competed internationally
and have been ranked as high as 10th
in the U.S. in their respective disciplines.
Dr. Quinn’s main interest is advanced soft tissue and orthopedic
surgery as well as internal medicine. |

Christopher
Laffoon, VMD
Dr. Chris Laffoon is a
graduate of The Pennsylvania State University
and received his veterinary degree from the
University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary
Medicine in 1983. His professional interests
include ultrasound and internal medicine with
a special interest in canine and feline endocrine
diseases. When not at the practice, Dr. Laffoon
expends a great deal of energy helping his
wife, Michelle, parent their four children
and care for their many pets. He also loves
cycling, walking, kayaking, and reading.

Deborah
Traurig, VMD
Dr. Deb Traurig
is a graduate of the University of
Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Her professional interests include
managing challenging internal medicine
cases. In her spare time, Dr. Traurig
enjoys spending time with her husband
and two children.

Christine
Spodnick, VMD
Dr. Christine Spodnick graduated
from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary
Medicine in 2004.
Dr. Spodnick’s professional
interests include soft tissue surgery, endocrinology,
and exotic animal medicine. In her free time, Dr.
Spodnick enjoys playing the piano, scrapbooking,
and gardening. She has a dog named Savannah, two
cats named Bailey and Casey, and one fish.

Stephanie
DiFrischia, VMD
Dr. Stephanie DiFrischia is
a 2005 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania
School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional
interests include surgery and internal medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys photography, hiking,
and traveling. Dr. DiFrischia has two crazy dogs,
Bean and Edy, and two lovely cats, Carson and Ivy.

Jamie Torres, DVM
Dr. Jamie Torres joins the team at Raritan after receiving her DVM from the University of Minnesota. She received her undergraduate degree in the midwest from Northland College, where she majored in wildlife management and biology. Dr. Torres brings a strong interest in exotic animals, especially birds and reptiles, to the already diverse interests of the hospital staff. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Philadelphia Zoo in their veterinary department and spends time with her husband, Pedro, and their pets "Bob" the beagle, "Roscoe" the bearded dragon,"Anna Banana" the ferrett, and 3 rats "Voldemort". "Hagrid", & "Neville"

Michelle Mason , DVM
Dr. Michelle Mason joined the practice in 2008. She is a graduate of The Atlantic Veterinary College. Her professional interests include preventative medicine and alternative therapies. She also has experience in equine medicine. In her spare time Dr. Mason enjoys hiking with her dog Roo, horseback riding, watching hockey and hanging out with her two cats, Larry and Curly.

Patricia King, DVM
Dr. Patricia King earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duquesne University in 2000. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and her clinical year was completed at The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation in 2006, she joined a small animal general practice on Staten Island, New York. She later made the decision to relocate to a practice in New Jersey, closer to her home and family.
Dr. King joins Raritan Animal Hospital with an interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special attraction to the fields of internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, infectious disease and oncology. In her spare time, Dr. King enjoys spending time with her husband and their two fuzzy children “Bentley” the Yellow Labrador Retriever and “Lily” the calico cat. She also loves reading, volunteer work, cooking and traveling.

Kevin Hargadon, DVM
Dr. Kevin Hargadon is a recent graduate from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. His professional interests include exotic medicine, surgery, and internal medicine. In his spare time Dr Hargadon enjoys playing the guitar, playing hockey, and spending time with his new puppy, Luna.

Maryann Kuruvilla, DVM
Dr. Maryann Kuruvilla is a recent graduate of The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Her professional interests include internal medicine as well as physical rehabilitation Dr. Kuruvilla enjoys spending her free time relaxing with family, friends and her four cats, Murry, Muriel, Alice and Socks.
